| Bristol Rugby supporters will get the chance to see new signing Tongan International Vunga Lilo play his first game of competitive rugby for the club this weekend when he runs out at the 2008 Middlesex 7's tournament. |
Lilo was the last of the new signings to report for pre-season training as he was playing for Tonga in the Pacific Nations Cup but has participated in the club's preseason training camp in Exeter this week and is raring to go.
Also spearheading the side is David Lemi, who scored a hat-trick against Newcastle in the 2006 Sevens tournament and has been a star of the World Sevens Series circuit. He brings his experience and pace to the squad which also includes brothers Chevvy and Redford Pennycook who each have Sevens experience.
Greg Barden (pictured above), who has just signed a one year contract with the West Country side, is given the honour of captaining the squad, and is joined by Bristol regular Lee Robinson who makes his first appearance in the Middlesex Sevens tournament.
Also included are Academy players Nick Scott, Ollie Hayes and Richard Jenkins who will make their debut appearance at Twickenham on Saturday.
Kick off 12.20 against Worcester.
